You’re only allowed to catch one Pokémon every time you wander through an area of the game. In Nuzlocke mode you are challenged a lot more, every decision you make affects the story line. One thing, I saw a lot of in researching this game, people are having a hard time figuring out how to adjust the volume, I found the answer in their forum. The biggest difference from this game’s play to any other licensed version is that this one is played on a computer rather than a console. So if you have ever played any Pokémon game, you should be able to get the hang of it without problems.
